Ewok Adventures

With the recent release of another Star Wars movie, comes a long awaited day in the Leon household, the day when Young can finally share his passion for Star Wars with his children! :) The whole thing was sparked by a happy meal toy too (go figure!). Brodie had gotten an ewok and Kaleia wanted to know what it was, so I told her it was a character from Star Wars. She then replied that she didn't know what Star Wars was. Seeing as this was daddy's area of expertise, I told her that we would have to ask him when he got home from work. Thankfully, she was okay with that, so we waited until that night.
When Young did tell her what Star Wars was and how ewoks fit into the movie he thought it best to show her, and so we planned a special viewing for Saturday (which worked out nicely, as the kids were feeling a little under the weather). Due to the mature nature that occurs frequently in the actual "Star Wars" movies we thought it best to start with a little more age appropriate movie, so Ewok Adventures is what we watched. Here are a couple of pics of the time together.

Don't you like the look on Brodie's face? I love that his mouth is open. Oh, and please don't think we went totally overboard, the stuffed ewoks were presents to both of the kids on previous birthday's from Auntie Erika and Uncle Randy (Thanks guys, they were rather perfect for this event!).
